From the beginning of time, pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period have been times when families were surrounded by care and support. Traditionally, family members, friends, and neighbors within the community would come together to nurture and assist new parents. They would offer guidance, encouragement, and helping hands during the tender early weeks and months after welcoming a new baby.
This sense of community ensured that new families were not alone, but instead supported with wisdom, compassion, and shared experience as they adjusted to life with their newborn.
Doula Services Include:
• 2–3 Prenatal Visits: In-person visits and phone consultations to get acquainted, discuss your birth preferences, and prepare for your labor and birth experience.
• Continuous Labor Support: Unlimited emotional support, comfort measures, and guidance for the laboring mother and her partner during active labor at your preferred birthing location.
• Immediate Postpartum Support: Up to two hours of support after birth to assist with breastfeeding, answer questions, and provide reassurance, resources, and referrals as you begin bonding with your baby.
• Postpartum Follow-Up Visit: A visit approximately one week after birth to check in, offer support, answer questions, and ensure you and your baby are adjusting well.

Hello, welcome, and thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my services.
My name is Ropani, and I currently reside in Harlem, New York. Ten years ago, I set the intention to become a certified doula, and I am grateful to have recently fulfilled that manifestation. I have always had a deep passion for motherhood and the birthing process. From a young age, I’ve carried strong maternal instincts, and being able to share that energy and support with expecting parents is truly a dream come true.
Every birthing experience is unique, and I look forward to helping you create the pregnancy and birth journey you’ve always longed for—one filled with empowerment, support, and confidence.
